Document Binding

Slide binding is our quickest and cheapest way of binding and securing your document together, we don’t need to punch your document we’ll just simply use a slide onto your paper and it’ll be held firmly in place! Need your document printed too (single-sided or double-sided), we’re more than happy to oblige and we’ll make sure it’s in the right order and sequence – we’re committed to precision!

We can bind up to 200 sheets of A4 on 80gsm paper and have a range of different spine sizes to choose from, all in black (a popular option – need another colour just let us know in advance!) with front and back covers, giving it a neat and professional look. Need your document bound for same day collection, we can go one step further and offer this service ‘whilst you wait’, just pop in and ask our professional staff!

Wire binding is one of our most popular book binding methods, it’s also known as double loop wire, wire-o, wiro and twin loop wire – not to worry, we’re familiar with all the terms! Why choose wire binding – so as a guide; the document opens flat and can be opened or folded back 360 degrees!

We can offer wire binding on its own or with printing the document too, we’re happy to do both and as everything we do is all on-site and so can offer same day collection! We can bind up to 250 sheets of A4 on 80gsm paper in black or white binding wires (as these seem to be the most popular – need another colour just let us know in advance!) with front and back covers, either in portrait or landscape orientation. We pride ourselves on ensuring your document has the perfect professional finish which is fast and reliable with no compromise on quality!

Comb binding or spiral comb binding is a great option for cheap and professional finishing of your documents – that will lie flat but can’t be folded all the way back – but the best bit is that the spine can be opened again if any changes or editing needs to be made! We can bind up to 400 sheets of A4 on 80gsm paper – that’s our largest sheet capacity we offer for binding – with a black or white spine (any other colour needed, just let us know) with front and back cover, so if you have a thesis or dissertation we’d probably recommend this to you as one of your options. Need your document urgently or in a hurry, you can collect on the very same day!

Perfect binding or adhesive binding is our most common, low cost, bind style for soft cover paperback books, publications, magazines or catalogues. The cover is printed separately on a heavier card stock and the finish is your choice – a glossy finish or a textured feel – we can laminate it too; for that extra longevity and protection – we have a variety of options available and can help you choose the best one for you! The inside pages, where we need a minimum page count of 20, and cover are then glued together at the spine and the other three sides are trimmed to give them a clean, crisp, precise ‘perfect’ edge – hence the name and that’s where our efficiency coupled with our state-of-the-art machinery ensures no compromise on quality! The title of the book can be printed along the flat spine too – a great feature to get noticed when its stacked up!

Hardcover or case binding is the ultimate binding method for your most prestigious books – it’s the way to go if you need durability and strength and the traditional way to produce a hard-backed book – most books in history have this type of book binding! It’s a bit more expensive but it’s designed to last year after year!

The inside pages are divided – we’ll make sure they’re in the right order – which allows the book to lie flat, then glued and attached to the spine of the hard casing made of rigid cardboard which is wrapped in your choice of cover media – we’re happy to advise on the paper options we stock.
